Barbarian
Barbarians use big weapons and brute strength to take down the enemies surrounding them.
If you love playing as a powerhouse in the middle of the battlefield, the Barbarian might be for you! This character is good for casuals and those new to the Diablo 3 franchise.
Crusader
This character is part of the Reaper of Souls expansion and is perfect for close combat in the middle of battle. Using a variety of mid-range spells while wielding a shield and flail, the Crusader wants to purge evil from the land.
The Crusader is perfect for those who dabble in magic, but love getting up close and personal.
Demon Hunter
You won’t find a Demon Hunter in the midst of the action, but their job is super important for everyone on their team. The Demon Hunter uses ranged attacks to slow down enemies, making it easier for the team to strategize.

Monk

Necromancer
Available as DLC for Reaper of Souls, the Necromancer brings the dead back to life and has them do its bidding. It can also curse enemies with awful afflictions.

Witch Doctor
This character uses voodoo-like magic to attack from afar. You can cast poison spells that gradually do damage over time and summon zombies and vermin to attack your enemies. Hand-to-hand combat isn’t the Witch Doctor’s strong suit, so avoid it if you can.
If you’re a fan of attacking the hordes from a distance, the Witch Doctor might be the most fun Diablo 3 class for you.
Wizard
The Wizard is strong in both close combat and ranged attacks. Relying on intelligence, the Wizard manipulates space, time, and the elements to fight enemies.
